Recent Work / Friendsgiving Paper 2014

It's a new year, the holidays are over, and it's time to play a little catch-up. Let's rewind allll the way back to November's Friendsgiving. I posted a bit about our gathering here, but wanted to share the pieces I designed for the dinner. The invitation, signage, and menus strayed from the typical autumnal color palette with a white and light gray-sea foam theme that was offset with a stark typewriter typeface. My favorite pieces of the collection were the drink menu/directions, which I then incorporated into a mood board. The drink menu/directions were depicted as graphs and diagrams, which was spurred by our plan to incorporate our stash of old encyclopedia books into our party decor. The drink directions are designed to communicate how the different ingredients intersect to make a delicious drink (old fashioneds and pumpkin spice dark & stormies, in our case). To see the remaining of the pieces, keep scrolling if you're so inclined :)
