We spent last weekend exploring North Carolina with M's sister during a quick three day getaway. Despite stumbling upon a rainy Saturday, we still made the best of it by walking until there were puddles in our shoes while checking out the pockets of amazing cafes, shops, breweries, and eating eating eating delicious Southern food for every meal. My favorite was driving up to this tiny cafe amongst the trees by M's sister's apartment in our funny red rental car (which we named Salsa Bubblegum) and drinking big mugs of coffee in it's greenhouse walls while rain poured in buckets. That or the giant, totally worth the 90 minute wait chicken and waffles we ate in Durham before our flight home. There were so many good discoveries!
